District 13
CrossFit was declared as ‘The Sport of Fitness’, as it is a manner of training that integrates various elements – weights, high intensity, cardio, gymnastics, speed, endurance, stamina and more. District 13 is the sixth and largest CrossFit box in Malaysia to date and is located in Petaling Jaya, boasting more than 10,000 square feet in space. The coaches running the program endeavour to build a community of not just fit individuals but a group that supports each other through life’s challenges and accomplishments. Co-founders Matthew Chong and Aidi Amin Yazid want to change people’s opinions of fitness-reap and allow them to see the benefits of high intensity training through calisthenics, plyometrics, free weights and gymnastics in a group setting.

Pilatique has a calm atmosphere in the studio and a vibrant environment which helps create an ideal frame of mind to take full advantage of the benefits of your workout. The fitness program caters to all levels of fitness, Mat classes offer fitness enhancers like flex-bands and gym balls to vary the intensity of the exercises. There is even a small store cupboard filled with complimentary tea, coffee and crackers for when you get peckish. The thing with pilates is that we will understand how to take the impact off our joints and create harmony between joints preventing needless injuries.

Original Bootcamp

Rebel Bootcamp
If flipping tyres from 60-80kgs is considered fun for you and when you see trucks with huge wheels, you would automatically think, “I could flip that” – then you are hooked to bootcamp therefore Rebel Bootcamp might be just the place for you. It incorporates aspects of military training, sports conditioning, speed, strength, balance, agility and a fair amount of fun with building bonds. The lead coaches were trainers featured on The Biggest Loser Asia Season 2 and in just a few weeks, you will notice increases in your energy, endurance, stamina, physical strength and decreases in your body fat. The sessions differ and are ever changing, so monotony is definitely not an issue.

CosmicFit Bootcamp
CosmicFit is the ultimate place for busy adults trying to get lean, strong and fit for life. Their workouts last for an hour and you would have a choice of enrolling for either two or three sessions a week, depending on your calendar and fitness level. If you want a stimulating way to get your body into the best shape, the bootcamp program combines calisthenics with cardiovascular, interval and strength training. CosmicFit plans these programs to also highlight camaraderie amongst participants and is a motivational and cost-effective way to get into shape. They will also encourage and monitor participants on how to eat clean, healthy and typically natural whole food.
